What Is Back Pain & What Caused It ?

In almost cases, back pain is due to muscle contraction, injuries or deformities of the spine. It is estimated one in about ten cases of systemic disease. Lower back pain can be happen anywhere in the spine in the neck and lower back in a small area or wide area and can propagate from that are to other surrounding area. Low back pain causes can be stimulated by a wide variety of factors

Depending on what have cause it, pain in lower left side of back can cause a different range of symptoms. There are many possibilities of back pain causes, along with the degeneration of the spine, infections, tumors, stress and trauma. The accurate cause of back pain is hard to determine, as they may arise in soft tissues, bones, discs or nerves innervating bones structures.

We should also notice that there are jobs related activities that may trigger risk factors for back pain. This can be in the form of exposure to vibration, repetitive motion, exposure to vibrating and tremors caused by vehicles or industrial machines. Some sports accidents and motor vehicles surely can cause pain in lower left side of back as well.

Let’s don’t forget that there are some diseases like spinal arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoporosis can also cause lower back pain. Some of these diseases are more than likely happened in the elderly, the bigger age group to have major risk of back pain.

Some mental health problem like depression, anxiety, alcoholism and divorce is linked with low back pain. Researches and studies once and for all not indicate whether these diseases are the induce or consequence of pain.
